With it's sandstone escarpments, patches of monsoon rainforest, permanent crystal clear waterholes, spectacular waterfalls and historic ruins, Litchfield National Park is a fantastic vacation destination.

Founded in the 7th century BC, the city of Durres has been conquered by many invading armies. Although most of these left a few traces in the old town of Durres, the main attraction is the excellent beach near the town. Perhaps the most famous of Albanian beaches, it offers shallow waters close to the shore, which makes it very suitable for families and children.

Port Macquarie is situated on the Hastings River and surrounded by several beaches, along its coast. There are plenty of shops around Port Macquarie town centre including a number of different shops including surfing shops, craft and gift shops, antique shops, as well as large shopping malls like Port Central and Settlement Point Peninsula.

Kuranda is a pretty town set amongst the glorious mountains of the Atherton Tablelands, and famous for its wonderful markets. There is spectacular rainforest surrounding the town, with various walking tracks.

Samana sits on a peninsula along the northeastern coast of the Dominican Republic, shaped by seafaring history and a strong Afro-Caribbean cultural presence.
